Josette Cicacci, PTA, has her formal training in exercise physiology and physical therapy. Josette expanded her knowledge of the physical body through extensive study on the technique of myofascial release therapy. Additionally, she has completed training in yoga and meditation, and holds certification in both modalities. In 2008, while working in post-rehabilitative care, Josette met Mariah Fenton Gladis – Founder of the Pennsylvania Gestalt Center. Josette learned of the important work, which Mariah was leading, and became curious to know more about Gestalt therapy. Josette chose to pursue, and ultimately graduated from, The Pennsylvania Gestalt Center’s three-year training program in 2019.

Today, Josette integrates her unique skill-set on the function of the mind/body relationship when working with both individuals and groups. Josette uses breath as the foundation for all of her work. She has found the nervous system benefits of a breath-guided experience to be impactful. Calling on her physical therapy background, Josette prioritizes proper form and mindful pacing to maintain safety for any body when leading movement.

Additionally, Josette brings her 10+ years experience of volunteering on a scholarship board for a local non-profit that provides funding to individuals having experienced a life-changing injury or illness.
